Michal Krcmar, Star Dancer with Finnish National Ballet, Alejandro Virelles, Principal Dancer, Bavarian State Ballet and Harrison James, Principal Dancer, The National Ballet of Canada lead our 2018 lineup. From Tokyo we welcome back Kazuhisa Hiyama, Yasuyo Omoto, Keita Yasumura, Yuna Yoshida and Yuka Saito, and from Fukuoka's "Latin Touch", Humberto Trevino.
The festival will be held over 2 nights in mid July.
Michal Krčmář was born in 1990 Prague, Czech Republic, and studied at the City of Prague Dance Conservatory from 2001 – 2009, completing the course with the 2009 Best Graduate Diploma. In 2006 he frequented Ballet Master Classes in Prague and received fourth prize from the International Ballet Competition in Brno; in 2007 he became laureate of the Vienna International Ballet Competition; two years later won two second prizes in the Prix Carpeaux International Competition in France; and in December 2009 first prize in Category A from the International Competition in Brno, where he also presented his own choreography, On Edge. In 2015 got the prize of the audience for most useful dancer of the Finnish National ballet from Pro Dance organization.
His professional record so far includes appearances at classical and contemporary dance festivals in Cali - Colombia, gala performance of the world ballet stars in Sochi during Olympic games 2014, gala concert in Phnom Penh (Capital city of Cambodia), in honour of the King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni, festival of Art in Toyama - Japan and many others in Portugal, Germany, Finland, Austria, Slovenia, France, Estonia, Poland, and Hungary.
In 2015/2016 he started as Albert in Giselle. in Sammati dance camp. 22nd of August, Michal Krcmar was promoted to Star dancer (Etoile) of Finnish National Ballet after the show of the Beauty and the Beast (Javier Torres) where he was dancing the Beast. In September was doing Onegin in Onegin (John Cranko). In October was dancing prince in brand new production of Little Mermaid (Kenneth Greve).

Alejandro Virelles was born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. He began his training there at The Arts School. After 4 years there, he moved to Havana and trained at the Cuban National Ballet for 3 years where he was accepted into the company. He became a principal in National Ballet of Cuba in 2008. He joined Barcelona Ballet in 2011, then moved to Boston Ballet at the end of 2012. After 2 years he joined English National Ballet.
Currently he is dancing at the Bayerisches Staatsballett but will be joining the Berlin Staatsballet in August.
Alejandro won gold medal and special prize in the International Competition of Ballet Schools in Havana in 2002 and 2004. He also won silver medal in the International Ballet Competition in Varna in 2004.

Harrison James was born on the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand and trained at San Francisco Ballet School's Trainee Program in California and the New Zealand School of Dance.
Mr. James danced with Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Béjart Ballet Lausanne before joining The National Ballet of Canada in 2013 as a member of the Corps de Ballet.
Mr. James was promoted to Principal Dancer in 2016. James has danced such lead roles as Leontes and Polixenes in The Winter’s Tale, Prince Florimund in The Sleeping Beauty, Prince Charming in Cinderella, Lensky in Onegin, Albrecht in Giselle, James in La Sylphide, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, The L’Aviateur in Le Petit Prince, Des Grieux in Manon, Peter/The Nutcracker in The Nutcracker, Raj/Caterpillar in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire.
His repertoire includes roles in Swan Lake, Nijinsky, the second detail, Genus, Watch her, Being and Nothingness, Carousel (A Dance), Piano Concerto #1 and Spectre de la Rose.
